You must be 16 or older to create an account. The dictionary itself can be browsed without one.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. The prohibitions below are deliberately narrow — and they are enforced.
You may not submit content that is:
Kid Talk is a dictionary of real slang, and real slang includes ugly words. Documenting an offensive term with an honest definition — including saying plainly that a term is derogatory and why — is allowed and expected. This policy restricts abusive submissions, not honest documentation. Nothing here will be used as a reason to sanitize accurate definitions.
Content you submit is public. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce it as part of the service — including incorporating accepted terms into the app's dictionary on all platforms. You confirm your submissions are yours to give.
Every community submission can be reported — use the Report action on the submission (in the app and on the website) or contact us via the support page — and every user can block another user's content from their own view. Reported content is reviewed promptly by a human moderator, who may remove content, reject submissions, or suspend accounts that violate this policy. Reports do not automatically hide content — a person makes the call. To appeal a moderation decision, contact us via the support page.
Kid Talk is provided as-is, without warranty. Definitions — curated, AI-generated, and community-submitted alike — are informational and occasionally wrong; slang moves fast. We may modify or discontinue features. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do.
